Humidwise is free to use. We earn money through affiliate links: when you click a “Check price”, “Search on Amazon” or “See at” button and buy something, the store may pay us a commission. You pay the same price.

Next to every one of these links you’ll see “Paid link”.

A button leads to a store’s listing, not to a page we control. Before you order, check the exact model number and the specifications on that listing.

Stores we may earn from

• Amazon. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
• Moiswell, through its own affiliate program.
• HVACDirect, through its own affiliate program.
• AlorAir and Argendon, through the Awin network.

What commissions never change

• Which models we list. Our picks only include models sold by a store we link to, and those stores may pay us. Every other list on the site includes every certified model, even when we earn nothing from it, and the rule behind each list is shown on the page.
• The order of models. It follows the rule on the page, never the commission.
• The order of store buttons: Amazon first, then the brand’s own store, then other stores in alphabetical order.
• The numbers. They come from the EPA, the Department of Energy, the Energy Information Administration, NOAA, the CPSC, and manufacturers, each with its source and date.

What we don’t do

• We don’t accept payment for coverage, and no brand approves what we write. A store in our affiliate programs may check how its button looks, as its program requires.
• We don’t show Amazon prices, ratings, or reviews.
• We don’t track prices or send price alerts.
