How the tools work
The rule under every result
Sizes come from the ENERGY STAR® table, costs from the EPA’s yearly energy figures and your state’s electricity price. Humidity comes from NOAA climate normals, the dew point from the National Weather Service formula. Recalls come from the CPSC, brands and their companies from the EPA list, drain setups from the ENERGY STAR buying guidance. Each tool says which, and when they were read.
