How we pick. Certified portable models rated 25–30 pints a day. That’s the top of the range ENERGY STAR suggests for a slightly damp room. Each one is sold by a store we link to. One pick per need: no app, EPA Most Efficient, and a Wi-Fi app. Within each need, the lowest yearly energy use wins, then the higher efficiency. The EPA list has no noise figure, so noise isn’t part of the rule. No 25–30 pint model with a Wi-Fi app is sold by a store we link to yet. So that pick is missing. Stores never pay for a place.

Which dehumidifier is quietest for a bedroom?
Public data can’t say. The EPA list covers 482 certified models and has no noise field, and this site doesn’t run its own sound checks.
